Provocative interview with Ed Kalegi, America Weekend Radio. On demand via soundcloud. Ed says, “I enjoyed this book tremendously on many levels. I haven’t read a book that is this open, revealing, and personal in quite a long time.”
April 22, New York:
Full circle – it was seven years ago that I attended my first IWWG and heard Maureen Murdock speak about the art of memoir, so an honor to come back and participate in the author panel.

RJ Julia Books, February 7, Madison, CT: An iconic bookstore in Madison where my life-long friend and soul sister Donna (she’s in the book!) lives. We also attended a Jodi Picoult reading here (one of my favorite authors) so hallowed ground.
Oakland Public Library, February 23: Oakland, NJ, is where we first lived when my father got custody of me, my brother, and sister. The chapters, “The Golden Years” and “Richest Christmas” take place here, so this was an emotional one!
